The software

KlarCam processes the camera picture on your computer only. No pictures, audio or usage data are sent to us or to anyone else. The license is verified offline; the app opens no network connections.

This website

The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with data centers in the EU). Technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser) is processed briefly in server logs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, operation and security). No analytics cookies are set and no analytics services are used.

Purchase

The purchase is processed by Stripe through Managed Payments. The merchant of record is Sold through Link, LLC, an affiliate of Stripe; the payment service provider is Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. Stripe and Link process your payment data, name, email address and billing address as independent controllers for the payment, tax calculation, receipt and invoice, fraud prevention and payment disputes; details in Stripe's privacy policy. From Stripe we receive the email address, name, billing country and order number, and we store the email address, order number, date and the issued license key to issue and re-send the key and to document the order (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR; retention under German tax and commercial law). Receipt and invoice come from Link.

Email delivery

We send the license key and replies to enquiries through Resend, Inc. (USA) as our processor; Resend processes the email address and the message content for that. The transfer to the USA rests on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses in the data processing agreement with Resend (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Contact and feedback form

Messages to hello@klarcam.com and through the feedback form are processed with the details you give (message, optionally your email address) to answer the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Incoming email to our addresses is forwarded to our mailbox by Cloudflare Email Routing.
